Step 2: Change Your Mindset and Business Approach

The next step is for you to change the way you think about your network marketing business from this day forward. Rather than having your network marketing business as your primary or only source of income, I think it’s a much better idea to create multiple streams of income.

You need a way to make money from the people who don’t join your business. After all, most of the people you talk too won't join your team as a distributor or customer, so if you aren't making money from them too, you are leaving lots of money on the table.

You should promote different affiliate products, in addition to your MLM business. For example, I make money from nearly 20 different affiliate programs on this website. I make money whether people join my business opportunity or not. You want to be in the same type of position with your MLM business.

After studying more than 100 different affiliate programs, I’ve learned a few things. First of all, you want to focus on no more than 3-5 high quality affiliate programs. And you want to look for products that give you immediate profits, plus a monthly (or yearly) residual. Here are my favorite three affiliate programs to promote, in addition to my MLM business:

1. Magnetic Sponsoring:Without a doubt, this is my favorite network marketing affiliate program online. You have to purchase the Magnetic Sponsoring eBook to become an affiliate. But after you do that, you will access to 7 different training programs you can promote to your team, and earn 40% commissions. The training is amazing, and you can earn a lot of money.

2. Host Gator:This is the most profitable affiliate program I've found. Host Gator not only provides cheap hosting, domain names and other services, but they also pay you up to $125 per new customer you refer, even if they sign up for the one cent program.

3. Lead Capture & Autoresponder System This is the ultimate lead capture page creation program and auto-responder combined in one. The service is phenomenal. So is the affiliate program. If you need a capture page, check this one out!

Because I promote multiple affiliate programs, I eliminate the pressure of "pitching people," which allows me to make money even while I sleep. Best of all, if one of my income streams dries up, it’s no big deal. I just find another income stream and add it to my website. Step 3: Read These Three Books

I credit Mike Dillard’s "Magnetic Sponsoring" eBook to my success as an entrepreneur and internet marketer. I first read this book is November 2009 and have probably re-read it 10-20 times now. This book changed my life, and it will have the same effect for you. Mike will teach you the concepts of attraction marketing and you will quickly discover why most people fail in network marketing.

Whether you have one day or ten years experience in network marketing, you should take one day off to read this eBook. The concepts are life-changing. Step 4: Develop a Business Plan

One of the biggest reasons most network marketers fail is because they don’t have a game-plan! This includes a written business plan and marketing plan.

Before you start any business, you need a written game-plan for success. Personally, I’m a big fan of having a one-page business plan. This will help you develop your (1) unique selling proposition, (2) your marketing strategy, (3) your mission statement, (4) your vision statement, and allow you to (5) analyze your competition. What I like best about a one-page business plan is that it is short and to the point. Anyone can do it.

Step 5: Start Your Own Website

If you are SERIOUS about network marketing, and want to succeed, you need your own website, so you can generate leads and create multiple streams of income. It's not an option. You have three choices. You can create a simple capture page, start a blog, or create a website. Any of these methods will work. Which one you choose is determined by your skill-set and available time.

Option # 1: Lead Capture & Autoresponder System If you are a non-techie, or want someone else to build your capture page for you, this is the best option. It's the best service out there, and it's dirt cheap. You can have your own capture page up and running in no time.

Option # 2: On the other hand, if you want to start a blog, and simply need cheap hosting, you should partner up with Host Gator. Their services are cheap, but very, very good.

Option # 3: Your third option is to use Site Build It. I built this website using SBI, and am so glad that I chose their services. If you want a website that gets TONS of free traffic from the search engines, this is the best option available.

Step 6: Join an Exciting Business Opportunity

If you are happy with your current network marketing company, please skip this section. On the other hand, if you are looking for a new opportunity, you are in the right place. Step 7: Educate Yourself

Step 9: Get A System

If you study the top earners, you will find that all of them use some type of system to build their business. This typically includes a marketing system, lead generation system and training system. Please know there are many great systems to choose from. Some of the most popular systems include MLSP, The 7 Figure Networker, and Network Marketing 2.0. Personally, I use Site Build It as my system. I've found it's the best system to use, it's practically competition free, and you can create multiple streams of income.

Step 10: Advertise on our Website
