About the Company Traverus is an affiliate based international travel company that uses the multi-level marketing business model to sell its services. In essence, the company allows people to become independent travel agents without having to start a traditional business or be an employee of another travel agency. In case you don’t already know this, the travel industry is a $7 trillion dollar industry. That means that Traverus Travel has plenty of opportunity for growth. As of 2011, David Manning is the President, Founder and CEO of the Company. The company headquarters is in Allen, Texas. It does business is more than 90 countries and has tens of thousands of independent agents throughout the world. How to Join the Company To get involved with the company, you need a sponsor. Your sponsor is the person who shares the business opportunity with you and agrees to train and motivate you. Once you find a potential sponsor, you agree to the terms and conditions and agree to pay the enrollment fee. The enrollment fee is $100 to $250, depending upon which option you choose. Once you pay the enrollment fee you need to complete your Travel Agent certification. It costs about $50 to complete the training through the company. The normal price is $199. On a side note, if you can’t find a sponsor, you can get started by visiting the company’s website. How You Make Money How do you make money with Traverus Travel? It’s really simple. Your goal is to help people book their travel through you, instead of using another travel agent or online booking service. When they book through you (or your website) you get a commission from the sale. Therefore, your first objective is to find as many “customers” as you can. Most new agents start by contacting people that they know, such as family, friends, and co-workers. When you first join the company you become a Referral Travel Consultant. As a Referral Travel Consultant, you get 65% of the commission paid to Traverus. Once you complete your Travel Agent Training you can earn 75% of the commissions paid to Traverus. Also, once your training is complete you can contact vendors directly. Simply put, you are limited to who you can contact until your Travel Agent training and certification is complete. As you find customers, you should also keep your eye open for potential agents. When you sponsor new agents, you earn overrides and commissions off their personal and group sales. As you progress through the achievement levels, you can also earn cash incentives, prizes, free travel, residual income and even an automobile allowance. Compensation Plan
Tips for Success What is the key to success with Traverus Travel? The true secret to success is to hone your sales and marketing skills and develop a large customer base. You need to “talk with people” and “build your credibility” within your community. You can do this by relationship building, advertising in the local papers, and participating in community events. Once you develop your marketing savvy, you can also use online advertising. To earn residual income, you must sponsor others and help them achieve success. In other words, you must help your personally sponsored agents, their personally sponsored agents and so forth. To do this, you need to “follow the training system” your upline uses, or create your own system for others to use. In the beginning, you should use your upline’s system, until you learn the ropes and know what you are doing.
