The Future of the Internet: Infopreneuring Tips for Aspiring Infopreneurs

by Chuck
(MD)

Infopreneuring is the future of the internet. The internet is a large series of enclaves, where people hang out, gather information, and socialize. As the internet gets bigger and bigger, this trend will continue. That’s why I believe infopreneuring is the next BIG industry online.

In case you have never heard the term before, an infopreneur is someone who creates information products about a specific subject. For example, author Dan Kennedy is an infopreneur about “Information Marketing.” He created countless books, videos, courses, and seminars around that topic.

You should consider following a similar approach with an idea you are passionate about. If you take a few moments and think back on your life experiences, you should quickly realize that you have plenty of skills or experiences that someone else would want to know.

Here are a few quick examples:

• How to Find a Spouse

• How to Save Money for College

• How to Start a Business

• How to be Debt Free

• Job Skills

• Hobbies

You might take plenty of these experiences/skills for granted, but you shouldn’t. There are plenty of people out there thirsty for knowledge about something you know. So, why not capitalize on it? Hopefully, you are starting to get the picture. I encourage you to take out a piece of paper and brainstorm 25 ideas that first come to your mind. Once you brainstorm your ideas, rank them in order from 1 to 25, by listing your favorite idea first, your second favorite idea second, and so on.

Once that is done, head to your computer and do an internet search about each idea. Figure out how much competition each subject has. Once you whittle your list down to your best three ideas, pick the one you are most passionate about.

After you do that, you need to come up with a game-plan. In other words, what type of products will you create? You could develop videos, blogs, websites, e-books, e-courses, a newsletter or just about anything else. I recommend starting with a blog or website as your base of operations and then expanding into other information products.

Your key to success is to start slowly, while you have a day job. Once your website/blog has plenty of followers or fans you can create your first product. It really is that simple.

If you can work your infopreneuring business consistently every day, for a few years, you will achieve success. My best advice is to think big, but start small. Twenty years from now, you don’t want to be sitting on your chair saying you should have become an infopreneur, but didn’t. Take advantage of the internet, take control of your life, and get started as an infopreneur today.
