Stacking Distributors to Build Momentum in Your MLM Downline

This short article will discuss the concept of stacking distributors to build momentum in your MLM Downline. Many successful distributors stack distributors to create rapid growth in their network marketing business. This is the process of sponsoring someone, putting the next new person under that person, the next new distributor under this distributor and so forth.
There are many benefits of stacking distributors in your downline. First and foremost, you create momentum and excitement. Whenever you sponsor someone under someone else, that person normally gets excited. Also, as you build momentum in depth, you will “excite” everyone above that person to hopefully take action and start building a business. Also, if you are stacking distributors in several different legs of your organization, you are increasing your profitability.
There are two major drawbacks of stacking distributors in your downline. First and foremost, this violates the distributor agreement with many companies. Some companies prohibit distributors from doing this, so make sure you read your distributor agreement before you begin doing this. The second reason you might now want to do this is that very few distributors will make any money. If each distributor only has one leg in their organization, the commissions will pass up to the distributor with the proper width. That means you might have a power-leg that is 100 distributors deep, but only 4-8 distributors are earning a comission check in that leg.
Personally, I’m a big fan of stacking distributors in my downline. I think it benefits everyone involved by placing people under them. It’s a proven fact that most distributors will quit within 60-90 days anyway, whether you place people on their team or not. So by creating a little momentum in their downline, you might be able to keep people around longer.
In conclusion, stacking distributors is a very common business practice in network marketing. My best advice is to read your distributor agreement before you do this, to make sure you aren’t violating any of your company’s policies. If it is allowed, I recommend you build a power-leg by stacking distributors in each leg of your organization. It will increase your profitability if you can do this in 3-10 different legs. Good luck!
