Social Network Marketing Mistakes

What are the common social network marketing mistakes? There are a few, but the one I hate the most is the person who consistently spams their business opportunity link all over their wall, and all over their friends’ wall. In my opinion, this is the worst thing a network marketer can do. And it is the quickest way to get someone to “unfriend” you too.
Other common social network marketing mistakes include pitching your business to people who never expressed an interest in joining your business. Remember, no one likes to be sold anything. And most people are simply bombarded with sales pitches and advertising messages every day.
The last thing people want is to visit one of their favorite social media sites and find out that their long-lost friend, or old high school buddy, is sending them countless messages about a new business opportunity. Or even worse, that same person is pitching their business opportunity to “your friends.”
Whatever you do, don’t be the person who does what I just mentioned above. Instead, be a professional. Learn more about a concept known as direct response advertising. When you follow this approach, you only follow up with people who request more information about what you have to offer. You don’t have to spam or annoy anyone.
In conclusion, there are lots of social network marketing mistakes, but the most common one is “pitching your business opportunity” to all your friends (and their friends) on the variety of different social media sites. You need to learn how to be creative and find a more effective way to promote your business online.
