Social Network Marketing Goals

by Chuck
(MD)

What are the most common social network marketing goals? In my opinion, there are three reasons you should use social network marketing as part of your overall marketing strategy. They are:

1. To Generate Leads: The single most important reason to use social network marketing is to generate leads for your sales funnel. Without a constant flow of leads into your business, you will fail.

2. To Sell Your Product or Service: If you have a product or service to sell, you can use social media to gain exposure. You can market your product for free by sending "tweets" or you can create a Facebook Fan Page. You can also use pay-per-click advertising on Facebook.

3. To Sign Up New Distributors: If you are trying to build a downline, you can promote your business opportunity using social media. However, I think it's a much better idea to use a funded proposal instead. In other words, promote a generic "how to" product and then offer your business opportunity on the back end.

In conclusion, the most common social network marketing goals are to (1) generate leads for your business, (2) to sell your product or service, and (3) to sign up new distributors.

While I like the benefits of social media, I think it's best to combine this strategy with other marketing strategies. That way, you can test your results to determine which method produces the best results.
