Real Time MLM Lead



What is a real time MLM lead? I define it as someone who recently requested more information about starting a network marketing business. And when I say recently, I mean within the past 24 hours or less. The best place to get your own real time leads is on your own blog, website or capture page. You can also purchase a real time MLM lead list from a lead company, but that’s not as good as generating your own leads.

Why do you want real time leads? Real time leads are good because they are fresh. And the longer you wait to follow up with a real time MLM lead, the less likely your chance of sponsoring them into your business. For example, if someone requests more information at 2 p.m. today, you want to follow up with them within a couple hours, if possible. Worst case scenario, you want to follow up with them within 24 hours.

What should you do with a real time lead? You should follow up with them immediately. Preferably, you should give them a call. That’s the best way to follow up with leads, because it’s personal and effective. But you can also use your auto-responder to send them emails automatically. That is my second favorite choice. Whatever method you choose, just make sure you follow up with your leads promptly.

When you communicate with your leads, you want to position yourself as a leader. That means you can’t appear pushy or desperate. You want to use posture and act confidently. The best thing to do is to ask questions. If they have questions, answer the questions to the best of your ability. If they have objections, overcome their objections. Once you overcome their objections, or answer their questions, go into closing mode and sponsor them into your business as a distributor or customer. It really is that simple.

You also need to have realistic expectations. You won’t sponsor every single real time MLM lead that you talk with. In fact, you probably shouldn’t expect to sponsor more than 10-20% of these people. But that’s okay. If you are generating lots of leads, you can build a large downline, even with a 10 to 20% sponsoring rate.

In conclusion, if you are involved with network marketing, you should have your own blog, website or capture page so you can generate your own real time leads. Once you get leads, you should follow up with them as soon as possible, preferably within 24 hours. When you talk with them, act confidently and don’t come across as desperate or pushy. By following this simple advice, you will get better results in your business.
