Quality MLM Lead
Quality MLM Leads are the lifeblood of any network marketing business. Without a constant, fresh source of quality leads your business won’t grow. You need a large quantity of good leads to present your business opportunity to and promote your products and services to. After all, the MLM business is a numbers game and you must work the numbers. In order to work the numbers, you must have lots of leads.People to Avoid So, what is a quality MLM Lead? Let me started by telling you who doesn’t qualify as a quality Lead. • Someone who is unemployed • Someone looking for a part-time job • Financially destitute people • Someone with zero experience in network marketing Don’t get me wrong. I’m not saying these groups of people can’t succeed in multi-level marketing. Some of them might. But most won’t. Before you can succeed in MLM, you must understand your target market. Your “target market” is people already involved in MLM. Or, people with previous MLM experience. The people listed above don’t meet the “target market” criteria. Therefore, they should be a low priority for you. You should talk with them only after you’ve talked with your qualified, high priority leads. Who Is Your Target Market? In my opinion, a quality MLM Lead is defined as someone currently involved in the network marketing business or someone previously involved in MLM. That’s it. Someone looking to quit their job, someone looking to get rich quick or someone looking to start a home-based business isn’t a quality MLM Lead. Therefore, you shouldn’t focus your marketing or prospecting efforts on these non-qualified prospects. If you don’t “qualify” your prospects first, you will waste large amounts of your time and money and eventually become frustrated and broke. As an alternative, you could offer “non-qualified leads” (listed above) the opportunity to become a retail customer, instead of pitching your business opportunity. If you have a good product or service, you could approach them about it. Many of these people will become a retail customer. And some of your customers will upgrade into wholesale distributors and business builders. You should focus 100% of your marketing and advertising efforts on your target market. I cannot stress the importance of that. That way, you get a positive return on your investment of money and time. If you follow this advice, you will recruit more distributors and you will build a larger downline. In my opinion, there are three good ways to get MLM leads.
Where to Get Quality Leads First of all, you can purchase them from a MLM lead company. Many MLM lead companies will build databases of leads and sell those leads for profit. If you have good phone skills, you could sponsor a small percentage of the people you call. The major downside of buying leads is that you don’t know how old the leads are. You don’t know how many times the leads have been contacted. And you don’t know the type of ad or web-form they responded to. Regardless, buying MLM leads and contacting them is better than doing nothing at all. The next way to get leads is to create your own leads. You can create your own leads online, through newspaper advertising and by prospecting in day-to-day life. The advantages of these methods are that they the leads are your leads. No one else has contacted them about your business opportunity. In some cases, the leads contacted you about your opportunity. They responded to an ad or sent you an email. That is ideal. You want people calling you and emailing you requesting more information about your business. The final way to get leads is to generate leads from existing retail customers. If you simply become a retailer of your products you will generate lots of customers. You will make sufficient money from your retail profit, too. As an added bonus, some of your customers will upgrade into wholesale distributors. Some of them will become business builders too. Finally, some of your customers will simply stay customers, but will refer others to you. That’s what you want. Referrals are a great, easy way to build your downline. And, referrals are free. Getting Started with Leads I recommend you work your warm market of friends, family members and acquaintances. When you talk to these people, you should share information about your products and/or services. That’s it. You shouldn’t mention your business opportunity. After all, most of these people don’t qualify as your target market (people already involved in the industry). If you pitch your business to them, 95% or more won’t join your MLM Company. If you take a different approach and talk to them about your products first, you could get a large percentage of them to order your products. This helps you make immediate income. More importantly, some people will also join your business opportunity after they try the products. Final Thoughts In conclusion, the best type of quality MLM lead is someone with previous experience in the MLM Industry or someone currently involved in the industry. If you want to succeed in this industry, you must have a steady stream of quality MLM leads flowing into your business every day. You can do this by purchasing leads, generating your own leads, or building your list of retail customers.
