Pampered Chef Business Review

The purpose of this webpage is to provide a Pampered Chef Business Review. Please know that I am not affiliated with this company in any way. All information is conducted from independent research. Additionally, Pampered Chef is a registered trademark, owned by the company.

About the Company

Pampered Chef is a direct sales company that manufactures cookware and kitchenware items. Their product line features cookware, stoneware, utensils, knives, cookbooks, bake-ware, and kitchenware items. If it’s something you would find in your kitchen, the Pampered Chef has it. From what I’ve found online, their products are exceptional quality at a reasonable price.

The Pampered Chef utilizes the network marketing business model to sell and distribute its products through an independent sales force. That means that the company handles the orders, ships the products, handles customer service issues, tracks commissions and pays its independent distributors, whereas the independent distributors focus on finding customers and generating sales. In essence, it’s a win-win situation for the company and the independent distributors.

The company started in 1980 by entrepreneur Doris Christopher. The headquarters is located in Addison, Illinois. It currently does business in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Germany and the United Kingdom. The company currently has more than 70,000 independent distributors. It is one of the fastest growing, privately-owned companies in America.

The Party Plan

Pampered Chef Distributors sell the products at in-home parties, cooking shows, catalogue shows, one-on-one sales presentations and at fund-raisers. They earn retail profits from their sales based upon the wholesale-retail difference. In many cases, this ranges from 20% to 40% of the selling price. They can also earn overrides and commissions, cash incentives, trips, leadership bonuses and more, based upon their personal and group’s sales volume.

How to Make Money

How do you make money with a Pampered Chef business? It’s simple. You make money by selling the products to retail customers and by sponsoring new Pampered Chef distributors. Whether you’re looking to make a couple hundred dollars or even a few thousand dollars per month, you can do it with a Pampered Chef business. Your key to success is to find lots of personal retail customers. The best way to get started is to share the products and recipes with friends and family members. Once you do this, you need to continue sharing the products and services with others.

You can get additional customers by asking for referrals from your current customers. You can also meet new people in everyday life. Other options include newspaper advertising and online advertising. The secret to success is to find lots of prospects and potential customers. After all, the sales business is simply a numbers game. The more people you share the products with, the more sales you will get.

Building a Downline

In addition to finding customers, you also need to sponsor new distributors. The best way to find distributors and business builders is to provide world-class customer service to your current customers. Many of your satisfied customers will gladly upgrade their membership so they can purchase the items at the wholesale price. Additionally, you can look for successful people such as insurance agents, entrepreneurs, sales professionals, doctors, lawyers and accountants. These career fields typically make good Pampered Chef Distributors.

Another great way to find distributors is to advertise. The top earners use traditional advertising, word-of-mouth advertising and online advertising to grow their business. When you sponsor new distributors, your goal is to help them. The best way to do that is to help them find customers and distributors immediately. As you duplicate this process with others, your downline will grow and so will your monthly commission check.

Getting Started

To get started with a Pampered Chef business, you need a sponsor. Your sponsor is responsible for training you and motivating you. They teach you the ropes during your first few months in the business and help keep you motivated. The start-up fee is just $100. That gives you some sample products and business support materials to start your Pampered Chef business. You also have other starter kit options you can purchase, depending upon your commitment level and how much money you are willing to invest.

Tips for Success

How do you succeed with a Pampered Chef business? The real key to success is to work your business consistently. You must work your business consistently for a couple years to make a nice income. Many of the top earners have lots of retail customers and downline distributors. More importantly, most of the most successful Pampered Chef distributors hold “in-home party presentations” two to three times per week, every week. This creates momentum in their business and leads to more sales and commissions.

Final Thoughts

In conclusion, I believe that the Pampered Chef business is a viable business opportunity. The company has a great reputation, a great product line, great training and business support materials, and great distributor support. Your key to success is to find a good sponsor and join their team. Once you do that, you need to start scheduling “in-home parties” with your friends and family members so you can start selling the products and earn a commission. Once you master that, you need to focus on finding new distributors and teaching them how to do the same thing. If you do these activities consistently, you will achieve success with your own Pampered Chef business.

On the other hand, please know that Pampered Chef business is not one of those “get rich quick” businesses. To achieve success, you have to work hard and work smart. Also, you have to generate sales. You won’t get paid anything if you don’t sell anything. But that’s okay. For someone who’s self-motivated and willing to work hard, the Pampered Chef business is a smart choice.
