What is the key to online MLM success? Let me start by telling you that the competition for network marketing online is brutal. It’s ultra-competitive and hard to stand above the crowd and get noticed. I’m not saying it can’t be done. Instead, I simply want you to know that if you want online MLM Success, you have to be different than most people. I think the key to online MLM Success boils down to these four things.
1. Unique Capture Page: You don’t need a huge website to succeed with online network marketing. Instead, you need a simple capture page. A capture page, also known as a squeeze page, is a one-page website designed to capture the name, email and contact information of your visitor.
A good capture page normally has a catchy headline, a short video, three to four benefits, and an irresistible offer. You want to “persuade” your visitor to give you their contact information. The best way to do this is to give something away free. I also recommend you create your own unique capture page that is completely different than every other capture page online.
2. Traffic: Once you have a capture page, you need to drive a large amount of targeted traffic to your capture page. You can do this with free or paid online and offline methods. Most people get started with pay per click advertising, but quickly realize that is very expensive if you don’t know what you are doing.
Another option is article marketing or video marketing. These are good FREE strategies. My favorite method to get traffic is offline methods. I use sizzle cards and postcard marketing to drive traffic to my websites.
3. Conversions: Your next step to online MLM success is to convert a portion of your visitors into prospects. Normally, a good conversion rate is 5% to 10%. That means that if you drive 100 people to your website, you should get 5-10 leads. You can improve your conversion rate by split testing your headline, site design, offer, etc. Small improvements over a period of time can pay huge dividends.
4. Follow Up: My final advice is that you must follow-up with your prospects by email and telephone. You can’t expect people to visit your website one time and join your team. Most people need to see a message 10-30 times before they respond. It is human nature. So, pick up the telephone and call your prospects. Introduce yourself. Ask them questions and listen. Find a void and fill it.
In conclusion, this is my secret strategy for online MLM Success. As you can see, it isn’t overly complicated. Anyone can set up a one-page website and then promote it. It doesn’t take much money. You just need a game-plan, a willingness to work, and the commitment to follow through until you succeed.
