Nu Skin Enterprises Business ReviewThis article is a Nu Skin Enterprises review. I will discuss the company, the products, the business opportunity and several successful distributors. Please know that I am not affiliated with Nu Skin in any way. My goal is to provide a non-biased review of the company. Additionally, Nu Skin is a registered trademark. About Nu Skin EnterprisesNu Skin Enterprises started in 1984. It was created by Blake Roney, Sandie Tillotson and Steve Lund. According to its company website, it’s mission is to “be a force of good throughout the world by empowering people to improve lives with rewarding business opportunities, innovative products and an enriching, uplifting culture.” Its vision is to “become the world’s leading direct selling company by generating more income for distributors than any other company.” In my opinion, those are two pretty powerful statements. Nu Skin Enterprises is publicly traded company on the New York Stock Exchange. The company has three separate divisions, which include Nu Skin, Pharmanex and Big Planet. Nu Skin is the skin care line. Pharmanex features the nutritional products. And Big Planet features the information technology products. Blake M. Roney is Chairman of the Board. Truman Hunt is the President and CEO. Since Nu Skin started, many MLM Companies have come and gone. Very few have stood the test of time like Nu Skin Enterprises has. I read in an online article that nearly 60,000 MLM Companies have gone out of business since Nu Skin first started. That’s something to be said for Nu Skin Enterprises. In addition, very few MLM Companies have reached $100 million in annual sales. Nu Skin has exceeded $1 billion in annual sales. Last time I checked, Nu Skin was in the top 10 MLM Companies.
Nu Skin ProductsNu Skin’s exceptional product line includes anti-aging products, the Pharmanex brand, skin care products, moisturizers, men’s care, shampoos, conditioners and other personal care items. Their products have a strong reputation for being exceptional quality. They all come with a money back guarantee too. Even better, their products are consumable, which means they can be re-ordered month-after-month. Some of their signature product names include: ageLOC, Nu Skin 180, Nu Skin Clear Action, Tri Phasic, and True Face. Personally, I’ve never tried their product line. But after doing some internet research I’ve found plenty of people who swear by them.
Nu Skin Enterprises Compensation PlanNu Skin operates in more than 48 countries throughout the world. The major markets include North America, Japan, Australia, China, and the United States. According to its website, “Nu Skin has paid out nearly $7 billion in total commissions since 1984. In 2009, the average active distributor earned $843.46 per month or $10,121.52 annually. Also, 14.9% of active distributors earned a bonus check.” Nearly 75% of its revenue comes from foreign markets. According to the company’s website, “in 2009, the company paid over $550 million in commissions and sales bonuses to its distributors worldwide. Nearly 20% of that was paid to U.S. distributors. In 2009 there was an average of 76,246 active Nu Skin distributors at any one time.” As you can see, Nu Skin is a very successful business. Some of the key achievement levels include Executive, Gold Executive, Lapis Executive, Ruby Executive, Emerald Executive, Diamond Executive and Blue Diamond Executive. Currently, Nu Skin distributors earn retail profits from the sales of their products and also get monthly commissions and bonuses off their group’s sales volume.
Nu Skin Success StoriesSome of the most successful distributors include Craig Bryson, Dean and Katherine Nguyen, Helena Kammer, John and Sue Oldham, Jon Connolly, Ken and Janet Warren, Noel and Karen Millers, and Sam and Scott Harrison. Craig Bryson is a legend in the Nu Skin business. Because of his direct sales experience, he was personally asked by the Roney family to help start the Nu Skin network of distributors in 1985. Since 1985, he and his wife Kathy have earned more than $60 million with their Nu Skin business. You can do the math. That’s nearly a $2 million per year average since he started his Nu Skin business. At one point in time, Craig Bryson had more than 700,000 people in his downline. I’m not sure how many distributors he currently has. He is considered Nu Skin’s most successful distributor. Craig Bryson is currently part of Nu Skin’s Team Elite, which is a group of the most successful distributors in the company. Each year, distributors can qualify for Team Elite, by reaching certain business goals. Those goals are outlined on Nu Skin’s website.
Final Thoughts on Nu Skin EnterprisesIn conclusion, Nu Skin enterprises is a valid business opportunity. It is a proven, reputable company with exceptional leadership and high quality products and services. If you want to succeed with your own Nu Skin business, you must sell retail products and sponsor new distributors. You must become a marketing expert. Don’t think that Nu Skin itself is the answer to your troubles. Teaming up with a great company like Nu Skin Enterprises is only one half of the equation.
