Network Marketing Training Tips



The purpose of this article is to give you network marketing training. In fact, my primary goal today is to get you to rethink about “why you are doing what you are doing with your business.” If you are like most network marketers, you aren’t getting the results you desire. You’re struggling to make money and you’re probably frustrated.

Fortunately, it doesn’t have to be that way. But before you can improve your situation, you have to have an open mind and willingness to change. And some people aren’t capable of doing that. But if you are willing to change, the floodgates are about to open.

I’ve received this network marketing training during the past two years, through extensive study of the top earners in our industry. Some of the leaders include Mike Dillard, Jonathan Budd, Dale Calvert, Robert Allen and Robert Kiyosaki. Most of my mentors (and case studies) are high six or seven figure income earners. Obviously, they know what they are doing.

So, I’m going to share a few key points below to help you out. These are things the top earners do in their business that other people don’t do. They are listed in no particular order.

• They Sell Training Programs or Affiliate Products Instead of their Business Opportunity: In case you haven’t already figured this out, the internet is bogged down with people promoting their business opportunity. And most of these people are struggling and getting horrible results. The top earners understand this and they promote generic training and affiliate products to these struggling network marketers. These products serve as their “funded proposal” which allows them to practically advertise for free, while they build their list.

• They Have Their Own Unique Website, Blog or Capture Page: The top earners all have their own websites, blogs or unique capture pages. They never use a company replicated website. Instead, their blog promotes them and brands them as a leader. And it is the HUB of their operations.

• They Have Multiple Streams of Income: Most top earners have at least five income streams. This income comes from training courses, selling leads, promoting affiliate products, coaching services, eBooks, and many other different venues. The top earners never put all their eggs in one basket (only building a downline).

• They Build a List with an Auto-Responder: The most successful network marketers build a list of leads with an auto-responder. They understand that “the money is in the list.” They understand the long-term value of a lead. Once they capture a lead, they provide great information, help and training, so the lead never wants to unsubscribe from their list.

• They Stay in Contact With their List Regularly: This goes hand-in-hand with the previous tip. The top earners stay in touch with their list on a daily basis, or at least a few times a week. This allows them to build a relationship with their list.

• They Use Attraction Marketing: The top leaders understand attraction marketing and they apply it in their network marketing business. They promote themselves, instead of pitching a business opportunity. This gives them credibility and helps them become the hunted, instead of being the hunter.

• They Apply Mike Dillard’s “You, Inc.” Principle: This is the best network marketing training that I can give you. If you are only building a MLM downline, you do not own a business. Your MLM Company can terminate you at any time, for any reason. If you are only building a downline, you don’t have any real assets. The top earners treat their business differently than most network marketers. They understand their single greatest resource is their list. And they spend their time, energy, and money building their list, and maintaining it, so they can generate multiple streams of income.

• They Focus on their Target Market: Most network marketers think that everyone is a potential recruit. So, they end up chasing “opportunity seekers” and “unqualified prospects.” The top earners take a different approach. They focus on their target market: other network marketers. This saves them time, money and energy and lets them be more effective.

And if they are looking for customers, they use a similar approach. For example, if they are selling weight loss products, they don’t talk to overweight people. Instead, they talk to overweight people who WANT to lose weight and are concerned about their health. Please understand there is a big difference between these two groups of people. So, don't ever forget this network marketing training tip.

If you aren’t currently applying ALL (or any) of these techniques in your MLM business, than this network marketing training can really help you. If you want to achieve different results, you need to change. You need to run your business differently. You need to think about why you do what you do.

After applying these techniques into my own personal business, a few things happened. First of all, I make more money than I did before. Next, I am less stressed. In fact, I now have fun in my business, whether people join my business opportunity or not. And I have a real business (my website) that generates multiple streams of income and is a real asset that can pay me a residual income for a long time to come. Or, I could sell my website (no, it’s not for sale). Either way, it’s nice to have options.
