Network Marketing Trainer
What is a network marketing trainer? What do they do and how can they help you? In my opinion, she is someone who trains others how to build a successful network marketing business. They provide a valuable service of helping other network marketers achieve success. Within our industry there are many successful trainers who provide network marketing training services. They offer their services via coaching sessions, in person, at seminars, on audio tapes, eBooks and books. In many cases, their training income is much more than their MLM income. When people get involved in our industry, they need training. Most people have zero previous experience in the industry. Therefore, they don’t know how to prospect others, present their business opportunity, sponsor people, train their downline or sell retail products. These are all important subjects that distributors need training on. In most cases, people rely on their sponsor to train them. Unfortunately, most sponsors don’t know what they are doing. Most sponsors are new to the business themselves and don’t know much about these subjects. Or, they are unsuccessful distributors who aren’t very good at doing these things. And that limits the people they sponsor.
The best way to learn how to do something is to learn it from someone who has already done it. For instance, medical schools don’t hire accountants to teach medical courses. Instead, they hire medical doctors with the education, the experience and the required competence to teach the courses. You need the same thing in network marketing. If you aren’t proficient at doing something, you need to team up with someone who is successful. One way to do that is to work with a trainer.
What type of qualifications should a network marketing trainer have? At a minimum, they should be involved in the network marketing industry. They should be successful distributors who built large downlines and have a significant six figure income. These are good credentials to look for with any MLM trainer. In addition, you should check to see how many people they helped achieve success. For example, if they helped ten or more people earn six figure incomes, that’s a great credential too. Please know that many network marketing trainers aren’t even involved in the industry. In my opinion, these people don’t really have the credentials to teach others. Make sure your trainer has the right qualifications, before you work with them. Why do you need a MLM trainer? If you are serious about your business, you should hire a trainer or find someone in your upline who is successful to teach you. By doing so, you can reduce your learning curve and improve your skills. This will enable you to achieve success faster. This doesn’t mean you need to personally hire someone. Instead, you can purchase the training products from the person. For instance, I received most of my MLM training from Mike Dillard, via his website and training courses. Where can you find a network marketing trainer? I’d start by looking in your upline. Find out who your successful upline distributors are. Search far enough up your upline until you find a six figure earner. Ask him or her if they would be willing to help you. If they offer training, plug into it. Try to schedule time with them face-to-face, via telephone or via email. Soak up their knowledge and be a sponge. If you can’t get access to them do an internet search to find someone else. One of the reasons I created this website was to provide helpful training resources for everyone in our industry. Some of my favorite trainers include Mike Dillard, Jim Rohn and Mark Yarnell. Should you become a network marketing trainer? That depends. If you are a successful distributor, you should consider it. After all, it is a very lucrative career. I learned a long time ago that most people would rather pay to learn how to do something than actually go and do it. For instance, most people would gladly purchase a weight-loss book, instead of going on a diet. Successful trainers understand human nature and use that lesson to their advantage. In conclusion, serving as a network marketing trainer is a great business model. Good trainers are always in high demand because most network marketers need help. Most network marketers would gladly spend a few hundred bucks to learn what it takes to succeed in the business. Therefore, becoming a network marketing trainer is a great way to supplement your current MLM income or replace it.
