Network Marketing Phone Lead



What is a network marketing phone lead? I define it as someone interested in joining a home-based business, who provided their phone number as a way to get in touch with them. There are many different ways to acquire phone leads. You can advertise in the newspaper and direct your visitors to a pre-recorded phone message where they listen to your brief presentation and leave their name and phone number if they want to learn more. You can also purchase genealogy reports or lead lists from lead companies. Or you can generate your own leads on your blog, website or capture page.

What is the best thing to do with a network marketing phone lead? CALL THEM IMMEDIATELY. That is absolutely the best thing you can do. The key to success is the follow-up. It amazes me how many people purchase leads, but never actually call them. What good is that? Please don’t think you need to be a “master phone presenter” either. You don’t. Instead, you simply need to pick up the phone and call people. When you do that, miracles happen.

What type of success will you have with a network marketing phone lead list? Here’s the bad news. Probably 98 or 99 out of every 100 leads won’t be interested in joining your business opportunity. But here’s the good news: 1 or 2 in every 100 leads will be interested in what you have to offer. So, what does that mean? If you call 500 leads every month, you should expect to sponsor five to ten new distributors into your downline. That’s pretty exciting. And what if you could teach your downline to do the same thing? Your results would compound!

So, how do you get started with phone leads? To get started, I recommend you purchase a network marketing phone lead list from a lead company. You will probably get the people’s name, email address and phone number. In most cases, it’s pretty cheap to do. You can probably purchase 500 phone leads for $100 to $200. Some companies will charge more, but the secret to success is to shop around and find the best deal.

Once you have your lead list, you need a game-plan. In other words, what will you say to your leads? I think you should draft up a sample script to give you a general idea of what you will say. Once you write up a script, rehearse it a few times with your spouse, or someone in your upline. When you feel comfortable with what you will say, put the script away and be natural. Otherwise, you will sound like a telemarketer! And no one likes telemarketers.

As you make your calls, make sure you track of your results. Use a simple spreadsheet to track how many people answered the phone, how many people said no, and how many people wanted to learn more information. After you make your first 100 calls, take a few moments and analyze your results. If you haven’t achieved any success, make some adjustments before you call your next 100 prospects. To do so, give your upline a call and get their input.

Next, take out your network marketing phone lead list and keep calling. You don’t know where your next “golden nugget” will come from. Your first 200 prospects might hang up on you, but eventually you will find gold. Remember, network marketing (and sales) is a numbers game. And you have to work the numbers in order to achieve success.

Keep tracking your results and continue to make slight improvements every 100-200 calls. If you do this, you will become a master on the telephone. And that is what you want. You will learn what works and what doesn’t. More importantly, you will feel comfortable on the phone and you will ATTRACT leads to what you are offering. I know that sounds crazy, but it’s true.

In conclusion, network marketing phone lead lists are an effective and inexpensive way to grow your downline fast. If you are willing to pick up the phone and give people a call, you are well on your way to MLM Success. The secret to success is to get started, track your results, make small continuous improvements and never stop. Good luck!
