To generate your own leads, you simply need an opt-in form of your website where people will type in their name and email in exchange for a free report, free eBook, product sample, or something else. Once they type in their information, it is automatically uploaded into your auto-responder. What do you do with your network marketing email lead? FOLLOW UP IMMEDIATELY and FOLLOW UP OFTEN. Once you get a lead, your goal is to follow up with the person. Don’t make the common mistake of pitching your business opportunity or trying to sell your products right away. Instead, find out what the person wants. Ask them questions. Focus on building a relationship first. People hate to be sold. Instead, they want to buy. Therefore, you must first provide value and build a relationship. Once you do that, you can sell until the cows come home. In summary, here are your steps to success: • Get Leads: You can generate leads on your own blog or website or you can purchase leads from a lead company. Either method works fine. • Build a List: Start collecting leads to build a large contact list of leads, also known as a lead list or database. • Follow Up and Build a Relationship with your Leads: Send 5-10 emails offering something of value (tips, training advice, etc.) BEFORE you offer a business opportunity or try to sell something. • Monetize Your Lead List: Once you’ve built a relationship with your network marketing email lead list, then you can start making money off your leads by offering your business opportunity or something to buy.
