Network Marketing Affiliate



Can you make a decent living as a network marketing affiliate? You bet. That’s how I would describe myself. I make my money online by educating people about network marketing and recommending different multi-level marketing affiliate products for purchase. I earn commissions from each purchase. I also promote by business opportunity, but that is not my top priority.

Reasons to Become an Affiliate Marketer in the MLM Industry
Working as a network marketing affiliate can be very lucrative. You just need to know what you are doing. You also need to be patient and think long-term. Don’t expect overnight success. It can take two to five years to build a successful affiliate business. Let me start by telling you that most people in network marketing lose money. This happens for several reasons. First of all, most people quit their business too soon. Most people quit within 90 days of joining the industry. Any serious entrepreneur realizes it takes longer than 90 days to build a business. Another reason many people fail is that they don’t receive the proper training. In my opinion, this is the reason for most failures in network marketing.

Because so many network marketers don’t achieve success, they search the internet for solutions to their problems. They search for ways to sponsor new prospects, sell more retail products and so forth. You can make a significant income by being the person who helps them solve their problems. Therefore, serving as a network marketing affiliate presents a viable business opportunity.

How to Get Started as an Affiliate Marketer


So, how do you get started as an affiliate marketer? You can do that several ways, but your first step is to create your own blog or website. You should have a specific theme for your website, such as prospecting, sponsoring or selling products. You should create lots of content so your website generates free traffic from search engines. Once you have your own theme-based blog or website, you are ready to move to the next step. The next step is to either create your own affiliate products or sell someone else’s. Both methods have advantages and disadvantages. Personally, I think that selling other people’s products is the easiest way to get started as a network marketing affiliate.

To do this, all you need to do is set up a website and do an internet search for MLM affiliate products. You will find plenty of different products that you can promote on your website. I recommend you purchase the product yourself first, so you know what it offers. It’s hard (and wrong) to endorse a product you’ve never used yourself. Once you find a few good products, all you need to do is add the links to your blog or website. Once you do that, your next priority is to get traffic to your website. As you get traffic to your website, and start to sell products, you need to test your results. Evaluate what is working well and what isn't. Finally, make continuous small improvements to get better results.

How to Create Your Own Affiliate Products


Although selling other people’s network marketing affiliate products is the easiest way to become a network marketing affiliate, it’s not most lucrative. The most lucrative thing to do is to create your own network marketing affiliate products. If you can create your own courses, eBooks, seminars or videos, you can earn more money. Even better, you can convert your training products into network marketing affiliate products and let other people promote and sell them for you.

Here’s how it works. You create a good product and website to sell the product. You then submit your product to an affiliate company like “e-junkie” or “click-bank.” Those companies handle the credit card processing and electronic delivery and let other people promote your products. You determine the commission structure and the affiliate company gives each affiliate their own unique link to promote the product. When your affiliates sell your products, they earn a commission and you keep the rest.

That’s a really good deal. Think about how much money you could earn if you had 500, 1000 or 5000 people promoting your products for you. That’s what the millionaire affiliates do. Guys like Mike Dillard, Jonathan Budd and Ewen Chia are top internet marketers because they create affiliate products for others to sell. Simply put, they leverage themselves through others.

Just so you know the purpose of this website is to provide tons of free content about network marketing. That content “pre-sells” my visitors. At the end of each article or webpage, I recommend a couple useful affiliate products. I know that most people won’t purchase the products, but some will. In all, I have about 15 income streams on this website, because I promote several different affiliate products and business opportunities.

Please know I’m not saying this to boast. Instead, I want you to know that you can do the same thing too. You can become a network marketing affiliate. It’s simple to do.

A Real World Example of Affiliate Marketing at Work


My best advice to use is to pick a niche within the network marketing industry. For instance, let’s suppose you are associated with a great company like Herbalife. You could create a blog or website with a Herbalife theme.

You wouldn’t even have to use the Herbalife logo or name, so you don’t violate any of the company's policies. Instead, you could create a website geared around weight loss, nutritional supplements or something similar. You could have a link to your Herbalife store at the bottom of each page. You could also write a weight loss eBook or “Herbalife Success Tips” eBook and sell it on your website.

You could also put links to weight loss books with your Amazon affiliate link on your website. Finally, you could sell other weight loss themed affiliate products. You could easily find five to ten different income streams that give you additional income while you build your Herbalife business. When you follow this approach, you eliminate the pressure of finding new distributors and customers. Instead, they find you. And even if takes you a little bit longer to build your MLM business, you’ve still created several income sources that give you a nice standard of living. I hope this makes sense to you.

My Final Thoughts About Affiliate Marketing


In conclusion, there are many different ways to serve as a network marketing affiliate. The secret to success is to pick a specific theme and start your own website. Once you have a website up and running, you should focus on creating more content and finding different affiliate products to sell. When you do this, the search engines will find you and you will get free traffic. Some of this traffic will convert to new distributors and customers and the other portion of your traffic will purchase different affiliate products. Either way, you make money. Once you get established and master your skills, you can branch off into creating your own affiliate products.
