MLM Truth
What is the MLM Truth as I see it? Personally, I think MLM is a viable business opportunity. But the truth is; it’s not that easy to succeed. It’s simple, but not easy. And the truth is; most network marketers are misled to believe that they can or will achieve instant success. Unfortunately, I’ve never met a single person in this industry that built a large income overnight. But don’t worry; I’ve never met anyone in any industry who built ANY type of successful business overnight. Another MLM Truth, as I see it, is that most people who get involved in this industry aren’t entrepreneurs. Nor do they have any previous sales, marketing or entrepreneurial experience. In other words, they don’t have a clue about starting or running a successful business. As a result, these new “entrepreneurs” need to incubate and go through a learning curve, while they learn the ropes. Unfortunately, most of these distributors will “quit” after a couple weeks, rather than sticking around and learning what it takes to succeed. Are there any other MLM Truths that you should know about it? I think so. Here are a few more MLM Truth Statements (as I see it): • It will probably take you 5-10 years (if you are serious) to build a six figure residual income in this industry • Most people who join quit within 90 days • Most people who join never sponsor one person, order a single product or get one customer • The top earners have multiple streams of income, and their MLM Company is only one of those income streams • More and more MLM Companies are formed every day, all competing for the same business with other network marketing companies • Our industry is great, but has a horrible reputation • The top earners live an incredible lifestyle and earn substantial incomes, similar to those of Fortune 500 CEOs • Most people earn nothing (because they do nothing) These are some of the common truths as I see it. What it all boils down to is this: If you are SERIOUS, have a SOLID game-plan and consistently work your business every day, for 3-5 years, you will achieve success. If you are willing to do what most people aren’t willing to do, you will succeed. But doing so won’t be easy. You need guts. You need courage. You need perseverance. And most importantly, you need a mentor, a system to follow, and a strong work ethic. And guess what? Most people don’t have it what takes to succeed. But that doesn’t just apply to this industry. That applies to anything in life. Most marriages fail. Most businesses fail. Most diet plans fail. Most Americans struggle financially. Nothing in life worth achieving comes easy. Everyone will tell you they want success, but very people will actually roll up their sleeves and do the required work. But no one wants to talk about that, because it doesn’t sound very appealing. But the ones that do the work get the results. That is the truth. And that is the MLM Truth.
