MLM Tip: Width vs. Depth in Your MLM Downline

I'd like to share a MLM tip with you about building width vs. depth in your MLM downline.
I once heard a famous Amway Diamond tell me that "width" made him profitable and "depth" made him rich. Knowing what I know now, I must agree with this successful distributor.
The quickest way to make money in network marketing is to build your width.
But that alone will not make you rich. The real money comes from building depth, under each leg of your organization.
Most top earners have only personally sponsored 20 to 50 distributors. However, once they sponsor a new distributor they work like a machine to build depth "under" that person.
Once you sponsor someone, you want to help them sponsor 2-3 people from their warm market right away. After you do that, you want to pick the most excited person and help them do the same thing. You simply keep repeating this process FOREVER.
Obviously, some of these people will quit. But, you will eventually find a few key leaders who follow your lead and do what you do. And when this happens, it's a great thing.
Personally, I'd rather have 10-12 legs in my organization that are 10, 20 or 30 levels deep, than have personally sponsored 100 people who don't do much.
Remember, you really only need 3-6 KEY LEADERS to make a huge MLM income.
80% of your bonus check will come from 20% of your "legs" in your organization. In other words, if you have 20 personally sponsored people, 4 of them will produce 80% of your income. Never forget that.
The single greatest thing you can do to succeed in MLM is to sponsor a couple new people each month and immediately start working in depth. Minimum once a month, you should spend time in the depth for each one of the "legs" in your organization. And you should continue doing this every month.
If you can do this, you will build long term security.
