MLM Team Names: Why You Should Give Your MLM Group a Name

What are MLM Team Names? And should you give your downline a name? In this article, I want to share my views about giving your team a name. Let’s get started.
I’ve found that everyone wants to belong to something greater than themselves. It’s just human nature. Everyone wants to be part of a team; especially a winning team. This includes the network marketing industry. If you have a downline (of any size) you should consider giving it a name.
Some examples of MLM Team Names include:
1. The Go-Getters
2. The Dreamers
3. The Champions
4. Financial Crusaders
5. Future Diamonds
This is just a small sample of names you could give your downline. You could also include your first name and/or last name as part of the team name. I recommend you use something a little more generic, so it appeals to more people.
When your downline has a team name, you can introduce new distributors to your team. This will give them a sense of belonging and a little extra excitement. You can even have shirts and other advertising items made up. Or, you could create websites using your team name, and let distributors use the website to grow their business. As you can see the options are endless. But all things aside, I think it’s much better to have a team name, than not have one.
During my time in Amway, I belonged to the World Wide Dream Builders. That was our system and team name. At the time, I felt very proud to be affiliated with that organization/team. Our team had large events and business meetings with its members. It was always fun and exciting.
In summary, MLM Team Names are a very effective way to improve morale and enthusiasm in your downline. I’ve found that people like to belong to teams; especially a winning team. If you have a large downline, you should create your own team name. And if you are just getting started, you should find out if anyone in your upline already has a team name in place. You should “plug in” to that team and utilize their resources and meetings to help grow your business. It will definitely help. If not team is available, just create your own team!
