Do you need MLM Sales Training? If you’re like most networkers you probably do need more MLM Sales Training. Most network marketers have zero sales and marketing experience prior to joining this industry. As a result, they struggle.

Regardless of what anyone else might tell you, network marketing is a sales business. You get paid to sell products and build a sales organization that personally consumes and sells the products.

If you’re struggling with “selling” that’s okay. The secret to success is to educate yourself so you can learn how to sell. And selling is a science. Anyone can learn the required salesmanship skills if they are willing to invest some time and money to develop these skills.

Fortunately for you, there are lots of great books on the subject of selling. You could pick up any classic book by Tom Hopkins, Zig Ziglar, or Joe Vitale. I even suggest you start by visiting your local library to save money.

What most people don’t realize is that all entrepreneurs are salespeople. When you own any kind of business it is your personal responsibility to “spread the word” about your company, to meet potential customers and share your products and services with others. Whether you are laid back, easy going, or even are a natural people person, there is hope for you.

You simply need to make a commitment to educate yourself, learn from your mistakes and keep pressing forward. That being said, here are some simple MLM Sales Training Tips you can start using today.


1) Know your Products: Product knowledge is very important. You must know the benefits of your products. If you use them yourself, this will be easy to do.

2) Always Talk Benefits: Never talk features, always talk benefits. People buy drills because they want a hole, not because they want a drill. Never forget that.

3) Ask Questions: Some of the best salespeople I know are great at asking questions. They get the other person talk about themselves.

4) Be a Good Listener: You have two ears and one
mouth for a reason. Do yourself a favor and listen more. In today’s world people are craving for attention. Give them attention by being a good listener.

5) Work the Numbers: Selling is a numbers game. Within the MLM world, you need to talk to a lot of different people to find a few potential distributors. You must work the numbers. You can improve your chances of success by focusing on quality prospects.

6) Follow-Up: The secret is in the follow-up. Never stop following-up. Call every prospect every six months or so. You never know if a situation in their life might change.

In conclusion, network marketing is a sales profession. And most network marketers would benefit from some good MLM Sales Training. In my opinion, this is a personal responsibility. If you are truly serious about this profession, you should make a commitment to invest your time and energy to educate yourself. You must become a student of the business.
