What is MLM internet marketing? And how does it work? I define MLM internet marketing as the process of growing your network marketing business via the internet. Since the invention of the internet, more and more people are using the internet to generate leads, create sales and sponsor new distributors into their sales organization.Why should you utilize internet marketing to grow your MLM business? Here are a few things I like about it: • Global Audience • Earn Income 24/7 • You Become the Hunted, Not the Hunter • No More Hassling Friends and Family • Generate Multiple Streams of Income • Easy to do and Fun! Although the internet is a powerful tool, most people fail with MLM internet marketing. What are some of the most common mistakes? 1. Using a Company Replicated Website: This is the single biggest mistake of online network marketers. If you are using a “company replicated” website offered by your MLM Company or offered by your upline, you are doomed for failure. Your site will be considered “duplicate content” by the search engines and you won’t get any free traffic. Even worse, your site will look EXACTLY like thousands of other websites on the internet. When people find your site, they will immediately hit the back arrow and leave your site. 2. Not Being Different: If you want to succeed in marketing, you must differentiate yourself from the competition. I can’t tell you how many online marketers are promoting the same sites, in the same way. Simply put, when you’ve seen one of these guys, you’ve seen them all. And that’s the last thing you want people to think about YOU! 3. Poor Marketing Strategy: Marketing is the key to success in network marketing. Most network marketers don’t have an effective online marketing strategy to grow their business. Instead, they waste their advertising and marketing budget on things that don’t work well. 4. No Funded Proposal: A funded proposal lets you offset your advertising costs, and puts money in your pocket immediately. Most network marketers don’t have a way to offset their advertising cost. As a result, they lose money, month-after-month. And they end up quitting their business. 5. Not Enough Income Streams: This goes hand-in-hand with number four. Most network marketers only have one source of income: their MLM Company. In my opinion, that’s a big mistake. You should never have all your eggs in one basket. As you can see, these MLM internet marketing mistakes cause most people to lose money. I don’t want that to happen to you. In fact, I want you to prosper with your online network marketing business. I want you to become a master at MLM internet marketing. So, I’m going to share some helpful tips with you to help you get started. Here are six simple tips for success: • Create a Blog or Website: You need your own blog or website. Which one you choose is irrelevant. Your blog (or website) is your base of operations. This is where you will drive traffic to. Never use a company replicated website. • Have Multiple Streams of Income: The top marketers never put all their eggs in one basket. In most cases, they have 5-20 different streams of income. If one income stream disappears, it will have minimal affect on their income. Personally, I use my MLM Company, Google AdSense®, SiteBuildIt®, affiliate products, and several other income streams. • Create a Unique Selling Proposition: In other words, what separates you from all your competitors? Why should people do business with you? You need to know that up-front, so you can tell your visitors (and potential customers) why they should choose you over everyone else! For instance, the USP for this website is that we are quite perhaps the only interactive online network marketing community where network marketers can ask questions, get help or share their story. • Be a Teacher: If you want to achieve mega-success with MLM internet marketing, you need to be a teacher. You need to provide value for people who visit your website. You need to share secret tips and training. You need to create fun and educational videos with great information. You need to write good articles that keep people coming back to your website. • Build a List: All top marketers understand the importance of building a list. In other words, you need to build a list of subscribers that give you permission to contact them via email. You can do this by placing an opt-in form on your website, where people can enter their name and email address. The people who make the most amount of money online have the biggest lists. The money is in the list! • Test Your Advertising: Successful internet marketers ALWAYS test their advertising. If you don’t test your advertising, you won’t know which method is generating the most traffic, the best conversions or the most profit. You need to know your key metrics for your advertising, so you can see where you are getting your best results. Final Thoughts In conclusion, MLM internet marketing is the process of building your network marketing business online. Many people have achieved success with MLM internet marketing. However, they did not achieve success overnight. They had to learn the ropes and figure out what works, just like you will have to do.
