MLM Hot Lead



MLM Hot Lead What is a MLM hot lead? And what do you do with a hot lead? In my opinion, a MLM hot lead is someone who is actively looking to get involved in your network marketing business opportunity and is ready to sign up right now. That means they have the money to pay the registration fee and they don't need you to convince them to join your team.

Where do you find this type of lead? There are a few places to find this type of hot lead. I will cover them in more detail below:

• Your MLM Company: In many MLM Companies, the company generates leads. These are people who visited the corporate website and requested more information about joining the business. Typically, the MLM Company sends these leads to its top distributors, free of charge. Obviously, not all MLM Companies work this way, but some do. You should check with your MLM Company to see if they share leads. Sometimes these leads are free, sometimes they aren’t.

• Your Blog or Website: If you have your own unique blog or website, you can generate your own hot lead. If you have good information, you can pre-sell your visitors. If you do your job right, some people will end up joining your downline without you ever talking to them.

• Warm Market: Your warm market can be a great source for hot leads. If you are looking for distributors, you can generate hot leads by talking to other entrepreneurs, sales professionals, self-motivated folks, independent contractors and other professionals. Ideally, you should focus on people who are used to getting paid by commission, or people who own their own business.

• Direct Response Advertising: Another simple, yet effective way to find hot leads is to focus on direct response advertising. In this example, you could place ads in the online classifieds or in your local newspapers. When people respond to your advertisement, they become a MLM hot lead.

Please know that there are a few other criteria to determine hot leads. In my opinion, a MLM hot lead must:

1. Be Exclusive: In other words, your leads must be yours and yours alone. If you are sharing your leads with other network marketers (like leads from a lead company) your leads aren't really a hot lead.

2. Be Fresh: Ideally, your leads need to be recent. They should have requested the information less than 24 hours ago. Less than 12 hours ago is even better. And requesting the information right now is ideal.

3. Specific: To be a MLM hot lead, your leads must specifically be looking to get involved in your network marketing business opportunity. You don't want opportunity seekers, unemployed folks, disgruntled employees or people looking for a job.

Your key to success with your leads is to follow up. When you talk with your leads, you want to display confidence and posture. You want to come across as a leader. Don't act desperate or pushy. If you do this, your leads won't join your team. Simply put, act confident.

Final Thoughts

In conclusion, I define a MLM hot lead as someone actively looking to get involved in your MLM business opportunity. In order to be a hot lead, your leads must be exclusive, be fresh, and be specific. You can generate your own hot leads through your blog or website, through your warm market, with direct response advertising, or in some cases, from your MLM Company. Your key to success is to follow up with your leads promptly and position yourself as a professional network marketer.
