MLM for the 21st Century, A New Adventure with Mark Harvey Begins!
I am no stranger to multi level marketing (MLM from this point forward) but I'm also not a professional by any means. I have stuck my toe in the MLM pond several times dating all the way back to 1986 when I first joined AMWAY.
I was convinced my strong sales skills and my bubbly personality were going to make me the king of the soap world. That lasted just about month, before I lost interest or ran out of money, I don't remember which came first. Over the years I have been approached by other Amway representatives along with others who told me travel, magnets and juice were all the next things that would make me rich.
Some of them I bought into, I even went to the MonaVie annual convention one year in Salt Lake City, but most of them I passed on. You see there is one thing I know for sure and that is nothing good is ever easy and most of the MLM pitches I've heard over the years have had some easy component in them, somewhere. The easy part gets people to sign up and everybody's happy for awhile and then reality sets in and that's why I created this website.
My website is going to be all about how hard MLM really is and how much work it takes to make money in Multi-level marketing. I am going join a MLM company called Send Out Cards and tell you the readers what it takes to succeed in MLM from the ground up.
One of the things most recruiters for MLM programs don't tell you is that the people at the top of the pyramid usually come from other organizations and already have huge organizations or "downlines" already established when they join. These established "downlines" put them at the top of the organization from day one and their "downlines" only get bigger as time goes.
When the compensation plan changes or they get in a fight with the leaders of the organization they just leave and take their whole "downline" with them to a new company. You see, the product be it juice, magnets, travel or soap doesn't matter; the whole goal is to get more people involved.
It's just like television, the programs are only created so you will watch the commercials, that's why it's free.
So come along for the ride and let's see if we can make this thing work. Please send me your comments and ideas and together we will venture into the world of Multi-level marketing.
