What is MLM Downline Residual Income? Personally, I define MLM Downline Residual Income as income that comes in to you month-after-month from your entire sales organization. In essence, you do the work one time and get paid forever.Big Myths There are two big myths when it comes to network marketing residual income. The first major myth is that most of the top earners build their residual income quickly. In most cases, this is not the case. I’ll cover this is more detail below. The second myth is that your residual income will come in forever, without you doing anything. With constant attrition, most successful network marketers realize that it’s very difficult to achieve a true residual income. Tips for Success But don’t let anyone kid you, it is possible. Your key to success to earning a large, ongoing residual income is to sponsor leaders. These are people who are full-time in their network marketing business and earn a full-time living from their business. If you can personally sponsor three people like this, in three separate legs of your organization, you will build a true residual income that lasts a long time. At this point, you could “reduce your activities” and still have it grow, month-after-month. But if you eventually want to walk away from your business and have a residual income forever, you probably need five leaders, instead of three. By doing so, your business will continue to grow and flourish. Obviously, this is my opinion. But I came up with these results by listening to many interviews of the top earners in this industry. I don’t think any of the “experts” will disagree with me either. The Timeline Please know that it takes most top earners 7-10 years to build a solid, lasting residual income. It can be done faster, but this seems to be the average. So don’t kid yourself into thinking that you will accomplish this in 1-2 years. Since it takes so long to build a large residual income I think it’s in your best interest to have multiple streams of income that provide “immediate income” while you are building your network marketing business. This puts money in your pockets today and gives you money to pay your bills and continue growing your business. Some easy ways to do this include affiliate marketing, selling leads, designing capture pages for people, selling your coaching services, selling eBooks and a variety of other ways. That’s one of the reasons I created this website, to give me multiple streams of income while I am building my downline. Even if it takes me twenty years to build a six figure residual income with my MLM Company, I can build a large “annual income” in the process. In my opinion, it’s the best of both worlds. I always try to teach people to think of their network marketing business as a CD in the bank, that builds value over time. You should start thinking of your MLM business as an asset, not an immediate solution to your money problems. Think of your business as something that goes up in value over time. Final Thoughts In conclusion, a MLM Downline Residual Income is possible if you build your business the right way. Your key to success is to create multiple streams of income while you are building your business. This puts immediate income in your pocket right away as you are building your residual income in the process. Additionally, you want to sponsor 3-5 key leaders who build a “full-time” network marketing business. At that point, you can reduce your daily activities and eventually walk away from your business for good.
