What should you know about MLM distributors? Well, we come from every walk of life. We are doctors, lawyers, accountants, ministers, athletes, entrepreneurs, fathers, mothers, and maintenance men. According to some stats, there are more than 60 million network marketing distributors worldwide, and that number grows each year.MLM distributors are some of the most self-motivated capitalists that I know of. They are free enterprisers who still believe in the American dream of owning your own business. And they realize that network marketing is the best tool to create a financial legacy for the average person. Why People Sign Up as Distributors People become MLM distributors for a variety of reasons. Some of those reasons include (1) make more money, (2) tax advantages, (3) personal growth, (4) associate with positive, like minded people, (5) to belong to something, or (6) because they love the company’s products. While most distributors don’t get rich in this industry, some do. And others earn a nice part-time income. I’ve found that most people simply aren’t willing to do the work it takes to achieve success in our industry. Most people talk a big game, but do not back up their words with action. But, the people who do the work earn a great income and live a dream lifestyle. Talk about the best of both worlds. What Others Think about Network Marketers Outside of the network marketing world, many people laugh at us. They think we are crazy for wanting something better for our life. They tell us that our industry is nothing but an illegal pyramid. That always makes me laugh. All organizations are shaped as a pyramid. What’s great about network marketing is that everyone starts at the bottom and has to earn their way to the top. In the corporate world, it is the complete opposite. People get promoted for a variety of reason, but it’s not normally for competence. And your chances of making it to the top of your corporate organization are slim. In network marketing, anyone can build a financial legacy and become a top earner. Most distributors dream of doing this, but few will ever put in the required work. You must be persistent and consistent over a period of a few years to start making the big bucks. It definitely won’t happen overnight. Final Thoughts Personally, I still believe that the network marketing industry is the “last business opportunity left” for the average person who doesn’t have the startup capital to start a traditional business. We are the business for the little guy, with a big dream. In conclusion, there are more than 60 million MLM distributors in the world. These distributors represent people from every profession, to include stay at home moms, lawyers, ministers, doctors, athletes, accountants, salesmen, and every other profession. There are many good reasons to become a MLM distributor, to include (1) tax advantages, (2) earn a residual income, (3) personal growth, (4) enjoy the products, and (5) build a profitable business.
