MLM Coach or Network Marketing Coach
What is a MLM Coach? Personally, I define it as anyone qualified and willing to help you grow your MLM business. In most cases, your coach will either be your sponsor or a successful distributor in your upline. In some rare cases, you might find someone outside your line of sponsorship, or even someone from a different network marketing company. But, that doesn’t happen very often. What Makes a Good Coach? What should you look for in a Network Marketing Coach? First and foremost, you should look for someone that has achieved success in the MLM industry. In other words, do they have the credentials and qualifications to teach you how to do something? That doesn’t mean they need to be a top earner or millionaire. It just means that they need to have experience in our industry and know what they are talking about. You should verify their credentials before working with them, or paying a fee though. Start with Your Sponsor or Upline When you join a network marketing company, you have a sponsor and a unique line of sponsorship. Most of the time, your sponsor (or another upline) will gladly work with you and help you get started. Even better, they won’t charge you a penny for their service or time. In essence, they work for you for free. That’s because they benefit by helping you grow a successful MLM business. For most distributors, your sponsor or upline are the only coaches you will ever have, or need. However, if you are one of the few network marketers who are truly committed to building a dynasty, there will come a time when you “outgrow” your sponsor or Network Marketing Coach. If you achieve more success than they have, you will need to work your way up your line of sponsorship to find someone else who has achieved greater success. I say this because everyone is limited to some degree. People can only teach you what they’ve done themselves. For example, if your upline has never earned more than $5,000 a month with their network marketing business, they can’t teach you how to earn $6,000 or more per month with your network marketing business. Well, they can teach you “what” you need to do, but they can’t teach you “how” to do it, because they’ve never done it. Does that make sense? In this example, you would need to search further up your line of sponsorship until you find someone who has earned that much (or more). When you find them, you need to ask them if they would be willing to help you learn what it takes to reach that level. Most successful distributors will help anyone in their downline; especially if they are and “up and comer” who is producing good results. Going Outside Your Line of Sponsorship As you continue to progress up through the achievement levels, you may need to eventually find a MLM coach outside your primary network marketing business. Some of the most famous MLM Coaches include Mark Yarnell, Mike Dillard, Tim Sales and Jeffrey Combs. These successful distributors provide training programs to help distributors from all network marketing companies. They provide great training resources that can be used by any network marketer. Simply put, they are the best in the industry. You can purchase their books and training programs online. Most of the courses are very high quality and quite affordable. They are a great investment for anyone serious about MLM. Becoming a Coach Yourself Once you achieve a large amount of success in MLM, you might decide to become a Network Marketing Coach yourself. Many top earners create audio programs, host seminars and even write books about the network marketing industry. They create generic MLM training and create an additional revenue source by doing this. In fact, serving as a MLM Coach is sometimes more lucrative than actually building a business. That’s just food for thought. Additionally, as you sponsor new distributors into your downline, you will be their MLM Coach. Personally, I believe you have the responsibility to personally help every person that you bring into your network marketing business. You also have the responsibility to make sure your downline gets trained properly. Even if you don’t have someone helping you, you still have that responsibility. So, don’t derelict your duties as a sponsor, upline and MLM Coach. Final Thoughts In conclusion, a MLM Coach is someone who helps someone else build their network marketing business. In most cases, it is one distributor helping someone in their downline grow their business. However, in some rare cases, a top distributor might become a MLM Coach and create information products and training for distributors in any company. If you are serious about your business, you need to find a qualified coach who can teach you what it takes to succeed.
