From one veteran to another, I’m here to tell you that you can turn your military experience into a profitable online military website. You have plenty of experience that other people want to learn more about it.

Your key to success is to pick a small niche within the military community and dominate that nice. Here are a few ideas for a potential military website:

Simply put, the options are endless. Here’s an example of what I did. I created a website for Company Commanders and Platoon Leaders in the Army National Guard. On the website, I have ideas, tips, strategies and best practices for ARNG Company Grade Officers. I also offer e-courses, e-books and other ways to make money.

I’ve had my own military website for about 14 months now. On average, it generates about $500 profit per month for me. Sure, I don’t get rich from it, but I do earn a nice income for work I did over a year ago. And, I get to help people. In my opinion, it’s a win-win deal.

Additionally, I own that niche. I am the only guy online who has a website specifically for ARNG Lieutenants and Captains. You need to follow a similar approach with a different niche. If you do, you will achieve online success.

To get started, I recommend you brainstorm 20 different potential military website ideas. Once you have 20 ideas, conduct some research on each idea to find out what your competition will be. At this point, whittle your 20 ideas down to the best 3 ideas. Once you have your top 3 military website ideas, pick the one you are most passionate (or knowledgeable about) and get started with your own military website.
