They manufacture products and develop strategic partnerships with large corporations to combine affiliate marketing and network marketing. They call their business mode the UnFranchise™ System. According to their website, their business model is similar to that of Amazon or QVC. The company started in 1992. Since the company first started, it has generated more than $3.4 billion in sales (source company website). The company offers more than 35 million products and manufactures approximately 2,500 core products itself (source company website). Its headquarters is in Greensboro, North Carolina. The company does business in the United States, Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, the Philippines and Taiwan. Its founder is J.R. Ridinger. Currently, there are more than 3 million customers and 180,000 independent distributors (source company website). Strategic Relationships The company has strategic partnerships with more than 3,000 stores. In essence, Market America is a web-portal and allows people to get paid at stores they would normally shop at anyway. Some of their strategic partners include Ace Hardware, AT&T, Joann Fabrics, Limoges Jewelry and thousands of other stores. Market America provides links to its partner stores. When you purchase a product through that link, you earn a commission. And when other people shop at your store, you earn a commission from their purchases too. It really is that simple. The Product Line What are some of their key products? Market America manufactures a large variety of products to include shampoos, health and wellness products, vitamins, personal care items, spa products and much more. Some of their top products include Isotonix OPC-3, Ultimate Aloe Juice, Isotonix Multi-Vitamin, Glucosatrin and MochaTonix. All their products come with a money-back guarantee. Most of their core-line products are consumable, which means they need to be reordered each month. This creates residual income for MA distributors. Getting Started & Making Money How do you get started with MA? It’s simple. First of all, you need a sponsor. Your sponsor is the person who shares the business opportunity with you and agrees to train you and motivate you. Once you pay the registration fee and agree to the terms and conditions, you become an independent distributor. At that point, your objective is to build your business by sharing the products and business opportunity with others. Most new reps share the products and business opportunity with friends and family members. They host one-on-meetings and in-home presentations to grow their business.
