Personally, I recommend you send people to your own blog or website. At the end of each article, you are allowed to provide an author bio. Your author bio tells your reader about you and provides a link to your website. Some of the readers who enjoy your article will click on your link.

Step 2: Build a Subscriber List: Once people get your website, you need an opt-in form where people can provide their name and email. This process is known as building a list. Since most people won’t buy your products or services right away, you need to get their contact information so you can keep in touch with them until they are ready to buy.

Step 3: Sell Affiliate Products or Your Own Products: While people are visiting your website, a small portion of them will buy your products and/or services right away. This is probably 1-2% of your visitors. You can sell affiliate products or create your own products. Personally, I’ve achieved success doing both.

Step 4: Offer Other Products to Your Subscriber List: Your key to success is what is known as back-end sales. This is the process of offering a wide variety of products and services to your list, over a period of time. Remember, most people need to see a message 10-30 times, before they respond. You need to keep placing your offer in front of people (many times), before they end up buying. Having a list allows you to generate multiple streams of income and long-term sales.

These are the four steps I use for making money with article marketing. It’s very simple to do. You just need to make sure that you write high quality articles that are original content. In addition, you must research your keywords, to find words that are in high demand, but aren’t overly competitive. Another key to success is to submit your article to the leading directories. Don’t make the common mistake of sending the same article to hundreds of directories.

In conclusion, making money with article marketing is fun and easy to do. You must write hundreds of articles to get lots of traffic to your website. You can’t expect to write one article and get instant success. In addition, this strategy works best when combined with other marketing strategies such as video marketing, PPC, and SEO.
