Local Network Marketing Leads
What are local network marketing leads? And where do you get them? Local network marketing leads are “people from your local area looking to get involved in network marketing, or start a home-based business.” Leads are the lifeblood of your network marketing business. Therefore, it’s important that you come up with a systematic way to generate leads. One of the best ways to do this is to start locally. There are plenty of ways to find local prospects. Listed below are some of the most common methods. 1) Prospecting: Most people come in contact with 50 to 100 different people every day. If you have good people skills, you have the opportunity to meet lots of people. To do so, ask questions. Ask people how they are doing. Get their business card. Shake people’s hand. Be optimistic. If you do this, you will find it’s easy to meet 2-3 new prospects every day. 2) Newspaper Advertising: Newspaper advertising is a very effective way to generate local network marketing leads. You can simply put a small ad in your local newspaper advertising your products or business opportunity. When people respond, you can follow-up with them. 3) Radio & Television Advertising: These are very effective forms of advertising, but they are quite expensive. I wouldn’t try these methods until you have effectively mastered the other methods. To learn more about these techniques, go to your local library and find some quality books about radio and television advertising. 4) Craft Fairs: If your business has products that would demonstrate well at craft fairs, you should set up a booth. If you can’t do that, go to craft fairs and get the business card from everyone that is set up there. Strike up a conversation with the people. You can follow up with them a couple days later about your business opportunity. 5) Fairs: If your town or county holds an annual fair, you can set up a booth displaying your products. As people stop by, get their contact information so you can follow up with them a couple days later. 6) Job Fairs: You can set up a booth at the job fair. To do so, coordinate with the event director and reserve a table. On the day of the event, dress nicely and set up your table. If this doesn’t appeal to you, go to the job fair to meet people. Introduce yourself to everyone and try to collect at least 100 business cards. Don’t worry about handing out your business cards. You can follow up with the people you meet a couple days later. 7) Direct Mail: This is another great way to generate local network marketing leads. You can buy a mailing list from a lead company and send out postcards or flyers to everyone in your zip code. When people call you, you can set up an appointment with them. These are the seven most common ways to generate local leads. The method you use is best determined by your skill-set and budget.
