Are there internet marketing guides out there? You bet. For the purpose of this article, I want to share my best tips that I’ve learned from different internet marketing guides. I will share some helpful tips to help you get better results with your online business. Let's get started.

1. Traffic: There are close to 200 million websites online. Nearly 90-95% of those websites don’t get any traffic. If you want to make it big in the online world, you must learn how to get a boat load of traffic to your website. It can be paid traffic or free traffic.

2. Build a List: The most successful internet marketers have a huge email list. This is their most valuable asset. While you are building a business online, you want to build your own list. You need a capture page or opt-in box for your blog or website. Do whatever you can to get people to give you their name and email.

3. Use Email Marketing: The most powerful thing about owning your own list is that you can use email marketing to market a variety of products or services to them. Additionally, you can send educational emails to help you build a good relationship with your list. Focus on providing real value to your subscribers.

4. Create Multiple Streams of Income: My favorite thing about internet marketing is having multiple streams of income. You should never have all your eggs in one basket. If you own your own list, you can market a variety of products and services to them. This puts more money in your pocket and diversifies your business.

5. Study Marketing: My best advice to you is to learn marketing. Study guys like Gary Halbert and Dan Kennedy. Learn marketing. The people who make the most amount of money online are the people with the best marketing skills.

6. Think Long Term: You must have realistic expectations. No successful business is built over night. You must take daily action, but have a long-term approach with your business. It will probably take 2-3 years minimum to learn the ropes, build a list, and start making good money.

These are my best tips I’ve learned from the different internet marketing guides. Please know that the internet has given the average guy a chance to compete with the big companies online. Although making money online can be challenging at first, once you learn the ropes of internet marketing, you can build an online empire from the comfort of your own home. I hope that helps.
