Infopreneur Overlooked Golden Opportunity

What is the most common infopreneur overlooked golden opportunity? Let me start by telling you that most people think the only way to make money online is to “bandwagon” with the most common trends such as: make money online, network marketing, internet marketing, and weight loss. What they don’t realize is that these subjects are extremely competitive. Therefore, your chance of dominating one of these niches is next to impossible.
The most common infopreneur overlooked golden opportunity is your current knowledge base. Right now, you are extremely knowledgeable about something. You probably have lots of experience in a particular industry. Or you have a hobby or special interest you are extremely passionate about. In my opinion, that’s what you should focus on.
For instance, let’s suppose you sold used cards for twenty years. Why not create a website or blog for used car salesmen? After all, you have lots of experience and knowledge about this subject. And you probably won’t have much competition either. How many websites do you know of that are designed specifically for people who sell used cars? Do you get the idea of what I’m talking about?
Most people think the grass is greener on the other side of the pasture. What they don’t realize is that they already have everything they need to succeed. For instance, I took my military experience and made a website for Platoon Leaders and Company Commanders in the Army National Guard. That was by background and subject matter expertise. Although it’s not glamorous or exciting, it sure is profitable. And I have no competition. Do you get the picture?
In closing, the most common infopreneur overlooked golden opportunity is the subject matter expertise you already have. Don’t make the common mistake of thinking you have to compete with the big boys. Instead, find a smaller, less competitive niche that you can use your knowledge and experience to build a small, but highly profitable online business.
