In Home Party Sales is probably the most effective, yet most overlooked way to grow your direct sales business. Few companies teach their distributors to do in home party sales to generate retail sales and build their downline.
On the other hand, some companies thrive on the in home party sales business model. These include companies such as Tupperware, Pampered Chef, and Silpada Designs.

What I like most about the in home party sales model is that you can work smart. You can share your products with 5-10 guests at once. This allows you to generate more revenue per hour than you would earn if you were trying to build your business one on one.

Even if your upline doesn’t teach the party sales model, you should learn more about it and incorporate it into your business building methods. Even if you only do a couple parties per month, you can add a substantial profit to your bottom line.

If you don’t know what you are doing, you can visit your local library or bookstore and find plenty of helpful books on the subject. There are plenty of books with step by step instructions on how to build your business. And after you’ve done a couple parties yourself, you will be good at it.

In conclusion, in home party sales are a fantastic way to grow your direct sales business. Many distributors earn a full-time living, just by growing their business via the party plan. The secret is to educate yourself, get started, learn from your mistakes, do lots of parties, and never quit. If you can do that, you will become a party plan superstar.
