Home Based Business Opportunity Seeker

Home Based Business Opportunity Seeker What is a home based business opportunity seeker? And what do you need to know about this type of person? First of all, an opportunity seeker is someone looking to start some sort of home based business. In most cases, they probably did an internet search about “make money from home” or “work from home.” They probably ended up on a website and input their contact information into a web-form. Most of the time, the website that collects this information is owned by a lead company. In return, they sell the contact information as “network marketing” or “home based business leads.”

If you have even one day of experience in network marketing, I hope your spider senses are already starting to tingle. You see, many network marketers are taught to purchase leads from the big lead companies. Unfortunately, the leads that you buy are normally bad leads. I say that because most lead companies consider any type of person interested in starting a home business a potential network marketing lead.

But guess what? They’re not a network marketing lead. For someone to be a network marketing lead, they must be:

• Someone already involved in the industry

• Someone with previous experience in MLM

• Someone looking to join a MLM Company

These three categories of people are your target market. If they don’t meet these criteria, they are nothing more than a home based business opportunity seeker. Now, there’s nothing wrong with someone looking to start a home business. In fact, it’s noble.

However, people who are looking to work from home are normally not interested in network marketing. If they were, they would already be involved! Anytime you advertise to people outside your target market (including leads) you are WASTING YOUR MONEY. Some of you might disagree with me. But that’s okay. The top earners NEVER EVER buy home based business opportunity seeker leads. Instead, they advertise to their target market: other network marketers. I hope you will follow this advice and do the same thing for your business.

In conclusion, a home based business opportunity seeker is someone looking to work from home or start a home based business. In most cases, this person is not a qualified “network marketing lead.” When you purchase leads from lead companies you have no idea what type of form they filled out. Usually, there is no reference to network marketing in the form. As a result, you will end up wasting your money if you buy leads. Instead, you need to learn how to advertise to people in your target market: other network marketers.
