Are you trying to earn money by writing online? If you answered yes, there are plenty of opportunities available to earn money by writing online. Listed below are my top three favorite ways to make money writing online.
1. Start a Blog or Website: This is my favorite way to earn money by writing online. If you are passionate or knowledgeable about a specific topic, you could create your own blog or website. You could create a 100, 200, or 500 page website (or larger) about a specific topic. You could turn your hobby, passion, work expertise, or interest into a thriving website. You could build a large following and then sell advertising on your blog. Or you could use Google Adsense® or sell affiliate products on your website.
2. Freelance Writer: Another great way to earn money by writing online is to work as a Freelance writer. There are literally thousands of website and blog owners that are looking for new, fresh content. If you have good writing skills, you could write articles for these site owners. In this example, you would write articles or web pages for someone else. For instance, you could set up an account with a website such as elance® and work as an independent contractor for other website owners. Typically, you get paid by the article.
3. Write an eBook: Writing an eBook is a great way to make some extra money. You could turn your interest into a simple, yet high quality and high demand eBook. You could set up a simple one page website to sell the eBook, or you could sell it on your blog. Many eBooks sell for $20 to $50 each, so if you know how to market the eBook, you could earn a nice income.
In conclusion, there are many different ways to earn money by writing online. If you are a good writer, your skills will always be in high demand. Although it’s good to work for other people as an independent contractor, I think it’s best to create something for yourself. Ultimately, you should build your own blog or website, so you can build up a passive income. However, if you need money quickly, it’s best to write for someone else.
