Let’s get started: 1. What’s In the Bag? This might sound weird, but you could put 2-3 items in a brown paper bag. You could close up the bag so your guests can’t see what’s inside the bag. You could allow each guest to write down what they think is in the bag. Whoever gets the closest answer would win the prize. 2. Jelly Bean Game: You could fill a jar with jelly beans. You could let each of your guests make one guess each. Whoever is closest to the right answer would win the prize. Best of all, this game is easy to do and easy to set up. And it will only take a few minutes to play this game, so you won’t get sidetracked during your presentation. 3. Biggest Order: Whoever places the biggest order during the event that day could be awarded a prize. You could tell the guests up front, or simply surprise the person with the biggest order. I recommend you surprise the person with the largest order. 4. Referral Game: You could create a referral game. Whichever person gave you the most referrals at the end of the event would win a prize. It could be free products, a discount on their order, or a monetary prize. This is a great way to find new customers and consultants. 5. Party Bookings: You could host a game amongst your customers to schedule additional party-plans. For example, if you have ten guests at the party, you could award a prize to anyone who agreed to schedule their own party-plan at their house within the next 30 days. As you can probably tell, you have lots of options. I think it’s very important to include games as part of your sales demonstration. People like to have fun. If you can make the event more fun, and let people win a prize, you will probably generate more sales, get more referrals, and book more party-plans. Your key to success is to be organized and have a game-plan. Obviously, you can’t give out too many prizes, because that will reduce your profits. But you could schedule 1-3 games during each party-plan. That will mix things up a little bit, break the ice and help your guests have more fun at the event.
