Dean Kosage... The Celebrity Network Marketer
Dean Kosage is an Amway Executive Diamond. His upline Diamond is David and Debby Shores. If I had to describe him in a few words I would use words such as energetic, funny, self-motivated and charismatic. He is an exceptional motivational speaker and entertainer. He can “grab” the crowd’s attention and keep its attention. Dean is one of the few Amway Diamonds who attained the status of “celebrity network marketer.” He has a large following, both in an outside of Amway.Although he was married for a brief four year stint, he built his Amway business as a single. To the best of my knowledge, Dean Kosage was the only “single” Diamond affiliated with the World Wide Dream Builders in recent years. During my two and a half year stint in Amway/Quixtar from 2002 to 2004, I had the opportunity to hear Dean Kosage speak at several different functions. This included Free Enterprise Day, Spring Break and Dream Night. I always looked forward to hearing him speak. Outside of Amway, Dean enjoys the music and the film industries. He also has his own band. He is very active with social media, on sites such as YouTube and Facebook. His Washington home was featured on “World-Wide Cribs.” However, he has since sold the home and relocated to California. What I really admire about Dean is his high energy and passion for helping others. Compared to the other Amway Diamonds (who were much older), he was very easy to relate with. He started his Amway business while he worked at Red Robin. Although I’ve never personally worked at Red Robin, I found his story very humbling and inspiring. Dean qualified Emerald in 1992. He qualified Founder’s Emerald in 1997. He then advanced to Diamond in 2000 and Founders Diamond in 2003. He reached Executive Diamond in 2004. I’m not sure of his current pin. Typically, Amway Diamonds keep the status of their highest achievement pin, even if they haven’t qualified at that level in recent years. In recent events, it has been said that Dean is leaving the World Wide Dream Builders to start his own MLM training system. Apparently, it is called “Freestyle.” I don’t know much else about it yet. The only thing that I do know is that the “money is in the system.” More and more diamonds are leaving their “training systems” to start their own. I can’t say I blame them. There’s also been a rumor that he might leave Amway to team up with MonaVie or another network marketing company. Whatever Dean decides to do, I’m sure he will be successful. In conclusion, Dean Kosage is a successful Executive Diamond in the Amway business. He is one of the few “celebrity network marketers” in the world of Amway. Dean has many loyal fans inside and outside of Amway. He spends much of his free time traveling with his daughter, Teagan.
