Blogging Course
Are you looking for a blogging course? If so, I can give you a few tips to success. I’ve been fortunate to build several successful websites. And I know how to build a website that gets lots of free traffic. I’ve consolidated all my tips into a simple, seven step blogging course. It is covered in more detail below.Creating a good blog is fairly easy to do. It requires a minimum amount of money (less than $100), but a lot of your time. And most people aren’t willing to invest a lot of their time. Instead, they have the get rich quick mentality and expect instant results. After a month or two of blogging and not getting the results they expect, they give up. And that is why the internet is saturated with “dead blogs.” This happens for several reasons. The most common reasons for failing include (1) bad keyword research, (2) not enough content, and (3) short-term thinking. Most people think they can just build a blog today and have a tsunami of traffic tomorrow. In case you haven’t figured it out yet, things don’t work that way on the internet (or in life). Instead, building a good blog requires a long-term commitment and consistent efforts. Listed below is my own version of a blogging course. Following these seven steps will help you stand above the crowd and build a successful blog. 1. Pick a Topic You are Passionate About: This is the first step in the process. Before you decide to create a blog, you need to find a topic that you are knowledgeable and passionate about. You need to pick a good topic, so you never run out of ideas to write about, or get bored with your topic. 2. Research the Keywords: This is the best advice I can give any blogger. Rather than just creating lots of blog posts, you need to do your keyword research. You need to find words that are easy to win in the search engines. You can use Google’s External Keyword Tool or Word Tracker to find words with good demand and little supply. Choosing the right keywords will help you rank high with the search engines. Choose a highly competitive word or high supply word, and you will never get on the first page of Google. 3. Be Yourself: When you have your own blog, it’s very important to develop your own tone of voice, or style. Be yourself. Don’t try to copycat someone else. 4. Create lots of Content: This is the second most important step when creating a blog. Ultimately, your blog will need hundreds or thousands of pages. You can blog daily or weekly. If you only blog once a week, please realize it might take you a few YEARS to generate lots of free traffic. On the other hand, if you blog daily, you will have created 365 pages of content in your first year. As a result, you will have a good amount of traffic. 5. Get Free Traffic: If you do your keyword research properly, and create good content, you will get free traffic from the search engines. It’s inevitable. But if you pick highly competitive keywords, it will take much longer. If you are desperate for traffic, you can use pay-per-click advertising to get the ball rolling. But, I still think free traffic is better than paid traffic. 6. PRE-SELL your Visitors: Good content will pre-sell your visitors. You don’t need to be pushy or act desperate. Instead, be yourself and don’t come across as a salesperson. 7. Monetize: Once you’ve followed all the steps mentioned above, it’s time to monetize your blog. Most people make the mistake of trying to do this first. But without traffic you won’t make any money anyway, so don’t try to add all those fancy advertising and banner ads before you have a good amount of traffic. In fact, I don’t recommend you advertise at all until you have 300 daily visitors. This is just my opinion, based upon my experience. The last thing to remember is to never stop creating content. At a minimum, keep adding fresh content once per week. Don’t ever stop! In my opinion, this is the best advice I can give you. Rather than spending hundreds of dollars on an expensive blogging course, you should simply follow the advice listed above. However, I can’t take full credit for the information I mentioned above. I learned some of these steps from Ken Evoy, the creator of Site Build It. I followed the steps mentioned above when I build my websites. And it’s helped me achieve great success. You should do the same. In conclusion, following the advice in this short blogging course will help you achieve great results. The most important things to remember are to pick a topic you are passionate about, research your keywords and create lots of great content. By doing so, you will build a successful blog that gets traffic and generates income.
