Best Network Marketing Article Tips

What is a network marketing article? And what should you know about it? A network marketing article is an article about the network marketing industry. These articles appear on blogs, websites and in article directories. If you do an internet search, you will literally find hundreds and hundreds of different article directories with millions of network marketing articles. And that’s not even counting the hundreds of thousands of websites geared around our industry, either.

As a result, most network marketing terms are very competitive online. Type in any word geared around our industry and you will find millions of search results. This means that it is extremely difficult to show up on the first page of Google, or any other search engine, with these terms. It can be done, but it’s difficult to do.

Most online network marketers focus on article marketing, because it’s free. And this means that more and more people are writing network marketing articles every single day, so the competition increases each day. I don’t expect it to slow down any time soon either.

People write articles about every aspect of our industry to include:

• Company Reviews

• Lead Generation Tips

• Product Reviews

• Marketing Ideas

• Company Scams

• Success Stories

• Compensation Plans

• Testimonials

• Sponsoring Tips

• And Countless Other Subjects

In each network marketing article, you will find a 300-500 word article, and an author bio at the end of the article. In the author bio, you will find one or two links, sending you to the author’s website or blog. Most people write these articles to get traffic and links to their website. While this is great for the person writing the article, that also means that you can’t always take the article at face value. In other words, many articles are nothing more than a sales pitch to get you to look at another opportunity.

I think it’s important to know that upfront. For instance, if you do a search for “your network marketing company + scam” you will probably find thousands of articles with that phrase for a title. Typically, they give the article a fancy name to attract your attention. They won’t call your company a scam though, since they don’t want to get sued. As a result, they’ll be generic and talk about what others are saying about your company. And at the end of the article they will try to pitch their opportunity.

Personally, I’m not a big fan of this method. I think it’s deceptive and unprofessional. If you’re going to write a network marketing article, I think you should take a completely different approach. I think it’s much better to write about the products or what the products can do. Let me give you an example. Let’s suppose your company sells energy drinks. You could write lots of articles about:

• Comparing Energy Drinks

• Cost of Energy Drinks

• Side Effects of Energy Drinks

• Places to Buy Energy Drinks

• Best Energy Drinks

• Ingredients of Energy Drinks

• Why You Should Drink Energy Drinks

• History of Energy Drinks

• And so Forth!

By following this method, you will have less competition with your network marketing article. And you will have a better chance of ranking high in the search engines and finding potential customers and distributors. This is the approach I am starting to use with my network marketing business.

I also think it’s a wise idea to create content for your own website, rather than just write articles for article directories. When you write a network marketing article and submit it to an article directory, they benefit more than you do.

They get someone to build content for them for free. They make money from your article with advertising and Google AdSense. All you get is the hope that you might get some traffic from your articles. I think it’s much better to write articles and post them on your own website. Let them be exclusive to your blog or website. In the long run, I think that’s a much better idea than writing articles for directories.

In this short network marketing article, we’ve discussed the types of MLM articles online. Once again, the internet is inundated with network marketing articles. Rather than do what most other distributors do, I think it’s a good idea to focus on your company’s products, or what the products can do. Write articles about these categories. You will have less competition and a better chance of ranking high in the search results.

Also, post your articles to your own blog or website, rather than just submitting them to article directories. Finally, be patient and consistent. This is a long-term strategy to get traffic to your website and generate leads online. It won’t happen overnight.
