Best MLM Business What is the best MLM business? That depends upon who you ask. Although there are many great MLM Companies available, there are also many bad companies. And finding the right company is only part of the solution. You also need an effective sponsor, training system and lead generation system. Therefore, I’m going to provide you some criteria I use to evaluate a MLM company.

The Products: In my opinion, the products are the single most important factor in a MLM Company. Your products must be high quality and provide value to the customer. They don’t need to be the cheapest products around, but they need to be reasonably priced. The quickest way to determine this is by asking yourself if you would purchase the products at the retail price, even if you weren’t involved with the MLM Company.

If you can answer yes to that question, you are one step closer to finding the best MLM business. Ideally, you want the products to be consumable, so your customers can reorder them month-after-month. Never forget that you earn money by selling products to customers, sponsoring new distributors, and teaching new distributors to do repeat those steps. If your product won’t sell, you won’t make money.

• The Compensation Plan : There are many different types of MLM Compensation Plans. Several common examples include the binary compensation plan, the uni-level, the breakaway and the forced matrix compensation plan. Each plan has advantages and disadvantages.

Your ultimate goal is to find a plan that rewards you well for your efforts. This is a key atttribute to finding the best MLM business. You should know how you earn money at all levels in your business. You must have a thorough understanding so you can explain it to your downline members. Find out how many downline (or products sales) you need to generate $10,000 per month. In some companies you need 1,000 downline members. In other companies, you only need 100-200 members. Do your due diligence and get the answer to this question as soon as possible.

Company Reputation: Don’t join a MLM company with a bad reputation. That last thing you want is a company with a bad name or bad reputation. You don’t want to say the name of your company and have people run the opposite direction. In addition, you want a company with a proven track record. In my opinion, proven companies are better than start-up MLM Companies. Look for a company that’s been around for at least ten years.

After all, most companies fail. You don’t want to build a large downline and then have your MLM Company shut down a few months later. On a side note, that doesn’t mean that a new company can’t succeed. Some do. But others don’t. Finally, you want your company to have an effective leadership team and a strong financial backing. This includes companies traded on the stock market and privately held companies that are debt free. These type of companies will be the best MLM business.

Good Sponsor: Once you’ve found a good company with great products and a great compensation plan, you need to team up with a good sponsor. It behooves you to find someone who is already successful in that specific MLM company. You want a sponsor who has achieved success and is willing to help you succeed. One of the biggest reasons people quit our industry is because their sponsor doesn’t do their job effectively. Your sponsor must have a plan for you to follow.

Effective Training System: The final aspect of finding the best MLM business is to pick a company with an effective training system. You need a sponsor with an effective and affordable lead generation and training system. Let’s face it, after you work through your warm market, you must have an effective way of acquiring leads. Also, you will need an effective training system to educate yourself about multi-level marketing.

Ask your sponsor how much they make off the training system per distributor. This might be a touchy subject, but you deserve to know the answer upfront. In some companies, distributors earn more from the training system than they do from the MLM Company. In my opinion, that’s wrong; especially if you are misled to believe otherwise.

Before you join any MLM Company, sit down with your potential sponsor and ask them about their training system. Some great questions include:

• How do you generate leads?

• How do you find new retail customers?

• What type of training can I expect?

• What will my investment be each month to participate in the training system?

• What type of success have other members of your downline had using your system?

• How much time will you work with me each week, month, etc.?

These questions are a great start. If you can think of better questions, don’t hesitate to ask those questions either. If you don’t have all five of these components in your current MLM business opportunity, you might want to find a different company. After all, your objective is to find the best MLM business available.

Final Thoughts

In summary, the best MLM business is a company that has quality products at a reasonable price. In addition, the compensation plan must be fair and easy to understand. Next, the company must have a good reputation, a proven track record and exceptional leadership. Finally, you need a good sponsor with an effective training system for you to duplicate.
