Best Advice for Online Network Marketers

Today, I want to share what I consider to be the best advice for online network marketers. If you are thinking about building your MLM business online, you’re not alone. In the past few years, tens of thousands of network marketers have launched their own blog or website, to grow their business online. This increased competition has raised the bar and made it extremely difficult to land on the first page of Google.
But I want to share something with you that is even more important. Here is what I consider to be the best advice for online network marketers. Before you even start a blog or website, read your company’s rules and policies.
You will be unpleasantly surprised to find that 99% of or more of all network marketing companies PROHIBIT you from using their name on your blog or website. That means you can’t write articles about your company. You can’t review its products. You can’t tell people you are an independent distributor. And worst of all YOU CAN’T EVEN PUT A LINK TO YOUR COMPANY REPLICATED WEBSITE ON YOUR BLOG.
This might come as a shock for some of you. But I’d rather have you know this now than later on. I couldn’t imagine building a large and successful blog, only to be notified by my MLM Company that I am violating their rules and policies. And then have to delete those pages or shut down my blog. Could you? This happens to people all the time. And I don’t want it to happen to you.
So if you are already involved with a MLM Company, do yourself a favor and re-read their rules and policies; especially about online marketing. And if you don’t find what you are looking for, call the compliance department to find out. If they tell you it is okay, get it in writing. And please know that lots of companies change their policies from time to time. So even if you are okay right now, you will be screwed later on.
On other hand, if you aren’t already affiliated with a company, do your homework BEFORE you join a company. Don’t get caught up in the hype or emotion. Make a list of companies you might want to join and then RESEARCH their rules and procedures. Don’t join any company that won’t let you market your products and business opportunity online the way you want to do it.
I hope this article helps. In fact, I hope you read your company’s rules and policies right now. You will be glad that you did.
