Article Marketing Strategy
Are you looking for a useful article marketing strategy? If so, I can share a few pointers to help you get better results with article marketing. Personally, I’m a big fan of article marketing. I’ve found that article marketing can help you drive more traffic to your website and help you generate more leads and more sales.Before you get busy writing articles, it’s important to spend some time developing an article marketing strategy. In other words, your strategy is your game-plan. It will help you identify your goals and what steps you must take to reach your goals. Having a game-plan will help you work smart, while getting better results. Listed below, I’m going to share my article marketing strategy with you. It’s a simple strategy that’s worked well for me in the past. It’s a series of five steps. Let’s get started. Step 1: Your first step is to create a piece of content of your website or blog. Spend the time to write a 500-800 word blog post or web-page for your website. Make sure your content is geared around a specific keyword. For example, my keyword for this entry is article marketing strategy. Once you finish reviewing and editing your piece of content, upload it to your website. Step 2: Your next step is to re-write your content or spin it into an article. You can use an article spinner program or re-write the content from scratch. I recommend you re-write it yourself. Make sure the article is significantly different from your original article. At the end of your article, include an author bio with a link back to your original post. Step 3: Upload your article to one of the leading article directories. Research the different article directories to find out which ones have the best Google Page Rank. You should also look for directories that offer “do follow” links rather than “no follow” links. Make a list of the top 3-5 article directories. Step 4: Respin your article again, and give it a new title and description. Upload it to a second article directory. Step 5: Repeat this process 3-5 times total. If you do this, you will have 3-5 different articles, each with a link pointing back to your original web-page or blog post. This will help that page rank higher in the search engines. And you might even find that some of your articles make it on the first page of the search engines. A portion of the people who read your articles will click on your link and visit your website. The most common mistake people make is that they upload the same article to hundreds of article directories. While this might help you generate some traffic, you often get penalized by the search engines. If you have one article in 100 different directories, the search engines view it as duplicate content. That’s why I think it’s better to have 3-5 versions of your article, uploaded on 3-5 of the leading directories. This will give you more traffic and improve your SEO. In conclusion, this is my favorite article marketing strategy. I’ve created hundreds of articles during the past few years and get thousands of extra visitors to my websites and blogs each month from my articles.
